Immediacy Launched in Benelux
Mediasurface launches Immediacy WCMs 6.0 in Benelux
Mediasurface (UK, AIM: MSR), Europe's largest supplier of web content management systems (WCMs), today announced its plans to introduce a new product, Immediacy WCMs 6.0, to the Benelux market.
Mediasurface has already built a successful operation in the Benelux market
promoting Morello, the web content management solution designed for larger
organizations with multiple sites or complex web applications. With the
introduction of Immediacy WCMs 6.0, Mediasurface is now able to offer a
highly competitive and rapidly deployable content management solution for
medium-sized organizations. This extension of the existing product range,
underlines the desire of Mediasurface to offer businesses - from
multinationals to small and medium-sized organisations - high quality,
user-friendly web content management software.
Arjen van den Akker, Marketing at Mediasurface for Continental Europe said:
"We are delighted with the official Benelux launch of Immediacy
WCMs 6.0. This solution has already proved itself at hundreds of
organizations worldwide and now Dutch companies can also use this extremely
reliable and affordable web content management system with which they can
easily create, manage and expand their websites, ultimately fulfilling
their online objectives."
Immediacy WCMs 6.0 will be sold and implemented exclusively through
high-quality Mediasurface partners. A typical implementation takes 15-25
days and this short time-to-live ensures the project risks are extremely
low. Arjen van den Akker continues: "Our partners are looking for a
solid, rapidly implementable system at an attractive price. They are
extremely busy and want to serve their customers quickly and with a solid
solution. Immediacy is designed to do exactly this!"
Immediacy WCMs 6.0 delivers the latest Microsoft. NET 2/3-technology and is
highly scalable and flexible. Apart from an advanced two-way integration
with Microsoft SharePoint, Immediacy is optimized for search engines and
accessibility through XHTML 1.0 Strict. In addition, the taxonomy options,
personalization and an extensive range of functions for social networking
including RSS, OpenSearch, Robot.txt management, PDF exports, forum and web
blog functionality.
Immediacy was acquired by Mediasurface in July 2007. Immediacy, as
the UK's leading .Net web content management provider, has built its
reputation on delivering quick, intuitive and affordable solutions for
corporate and public sector organisations and departments, as well as
