MPS Senior Consultant - Reporting to Head of UK Mediasurface Professional Services

Job Description / Purpose
This role is to provide professional hands-on implementation and technical advice to colleagues, partners, and customers to ensure the successful implementation of the Mediasurface product. The role requires experience in the development of Java based dynamic web applications. The applicant must have a detail understanding of J2EE architectures, and also have project managed or technically lead a number of web based solutions.

This role requires a self-starting capable team player with business and IT skills. They must be able to work in a professional manner with clients and at all times remain focused on key MPS goals, primarily brand protection, financial effectiveness and client satisfaction. As a senior member of any project team they shall ensure the adoption of best practice and core product functionality to deliver clients requirements wherever possible.

As the Mediasurface product evolves, more functionality is provided out-the-box and implementations are becoming more predictable, replicable and efficient. This may require the Senior Consultant to work on a number of projects in parallel providing advice and guidance to many customers and partners in an ad-hoc manner rather than focusing on specific projects. They must be a project all-rounder, as comfortable editing JSP’s and HTML as they are resolving complex technical or business issues.

Project engagements may require the Senior Consultant to lead a project in cases where a dedicated project manager is not required, or undertake a technical / solution lead role for larger engagements.

As can be derived from the above, technical ability, flexibility, commercial awareness, and leadership skills are key attributes required to adopt the ownership and responsibility inherent within this role.

MPS Operations Manager - Reporting to Head of UK Mediasurface Professional Services

Job Description / Purpose
The UK MPS Operations Manager role is to work hand-in-hand with the UK Head of MPS in the tasks relating to project accounting, project resourcing and Client Management responsibilities for adhoc MPS engagements.

This role requires a self-starting capable team player with project accounting and business acumen skills relating to IT. The candidate should have a combination of Enterprise IT, project management and financial accounting awareness, with commercial experience in any of the above a distinct advantage. They must be able to work in a professional manner with Mediasurface staff and clients and at all times remain focused on key MPS goals, primarily brand protection, financial effectiveness and client satisfaction.

MPS Product Support Engineer - Reporting to Head of UK Mediasurface Professional Services

Job Description / Purpose

This role is to provide support to our clients in terms of advice and guidance in the use of Mediasurface & custom components, and identifying possible faults or enhancement requests

Bearing in mind that Mediasurface supports skilled IT departments as opposed to end users the nature of these calls can be very detailed and will require both a technical mindset and a methodical approach to problem solving. The broad environment in which the Mediasurface product operates and the fact that the callers may well be highly skilled in any particular field ensures that the role is challenging and offers ample scope for self-progression.

Key to the role is a calm manner and the desire to ensure client satisfaction by thorough and proactive work. Whilst there are certain pre-requisite skills that are required, applicants must demonstrate willingness and an aptitude for learning new skills rapidly and effectively.
