Executive Management

David Eldridge – Chief Executive Officer

David joined Alterian in 1997, and became CEO of Mediasurface in 2008. He established his first software company in 1984 at the age of 14 to market his own software which won first prize in the BBC National Schools Software Competition. David attended the University of Salford where he gained a first class honours degree in Business and Management Studies. Following 4 years in several roles with Royal Dutch Shell Group, he then spent 4 years leading corporate development with GB Information Management before starting Alterian.

David Cutler - Finance Director                                                                                                                                  David joined Alterian in 2000, David became CFO of Mediasurface in 2008. After professional training with Deloitte Haskins & Sells in London, David held senior financial posts at NFC, British Leyland, and CompAir. Following experience on the board of UKO International Plc, he was for 12 years, until 1998, Group Finance Director of Emess Plc, listed in London and Frankfurt. In addition, for 7 years, until 1999, he was a member of the supervisory board (Aufsichtsrat) of Frankfurt-listed Brilliant AG. Since 1998 to 2000 David was a Director of ImagoQA Limited, the leading independent software consultancy which was guided to a successful private sale in 2000.

Andy Peart – Chief Marketing Officer

Andy joined Mediasurface in 2006, and is responsible for promoting Mediasurface and its portfolio of web content management solutions to a wider audience. He has extensive experience in brand, product and channel marketing disciplines, gleaned from 18 years’ experience in IT Marketing. Andy joins the company from business integration specialist Magic Software Enterprises, having previously held senior marketing roles with sector leading enterprise software and services vendors including Kalamazoo, ACT and PAFEC.

John Fennell - Group Operations Director

John came to Mediasurface in 2001 and is now the operations authority for the Company, overseeing all lines of business.  He is ultimately responsible for all Operations functions, along with the systems, procedures and processes that support the day to day running of Mediasurface.  John also manages the Quality Management function and the internal management of information for the Company’s Executive Management Team.  His role is key to ensuring that Mediasurface continues to deliver market leading products in its sector, and has a decade of experience in running operations across the UK, EMEA and the US in the IT market.

UK-based Management

Ian Truscott - Chief Technology Officer, Morello

Ian joined Mediasurface in 2003 and is responsible for establishing the technical vision and leading all aspects of the products' strategic technical development. Ian joined us with over a decade of enterprise software experience, engaging with global blue chip organisations (like McDonalds, Diageo and Glaxo) while living and working in the USA and Europe. Ian has a strong web content management pedigree, having focused on web technologies for the majority of the last ten years, working with some of the major vendors and pioneers in this area.

Nick Smee - Sales Director (United Kingdom and United States)

Nick has been successfully selling IT Applications and Services since 1989 and brings a wealth of experience to the role of UK Sales Director. With extensive experience in the Enterprise Resource Planning sector, Nick has achieved success as Salesman, Manager and Director within a number of organisations. Nick established and managed M2 Systems Limited who, during his tenure, were the J D Edwards Business Partner of the Year. Nick joined Mediasurface from BuildOnline Limited, a provider of web based collaboration solutions, where he was Vice President of Sales.

Darren Ford - Director of Professional Services (United Kingdom and United States)

Darren joined Mediasurface in 2000 and is responsible for Mediasurface Professional Services (Consulting, Education and Core Product Support). Darren has over a decade of global IT Consulting and Professional Services management experience throughout EMEA and USA. Prior to Mediasurface, Darren worked for ABB Seatec and Oracle UK.  Darren has considerable experience in large global enterprise resource planning implementations, Consulting Practice Management and Utilities/Energy vertical Client Management.

Jon Ewing – Head of Research and Development

Jon joined Mediasurface in 1997.  In 1999, he was seconded to the USA to help establish an office there, before returning to the UK to oversee a new Research and Prototyping Department.  Since then, Jon has been integral in Mediasurface’s product planning, design and delivery, joining the Product Management Team to help steer the direction of Mediasurface software.  From 2006 to 2008, Jon was based in Bangalore as Director of the Mediasurface India regional office, establishing, and then running, our highly successful development facility there.  Jon has now returned to the UK, having been promoted to Head of Research and Development in March 2008, overseeing all R&D activity within the Morello product. 

Continental Europe-based Management

Ger Kors - Senior Vice President (Continental Europe) 

Ger is responsible for the Mediasurface Continental Europe office, based in The Netherlands. He has a substantial track record of achievement, with more then 20 years of international experience in sales and sales management. For the last 15 years he has been involved in delivering enterprise solutions for major accounts at a number of software companies, managing both direct and indirect channels. Before joining Mediasurface he was responsible for establishing a marketplace in the media industry for SAP in The Netherlands.

Rob Zomerdijk - Senior Vice President Operations (Continental Europe)

Rob joined Mediasurface in 2000. He is responsible for professional services (consulting, education and core product support), finance and operations in Mediasurface Benelux. Prior to joining Mediasurface, he worked for a NASDAQ listed system integrator, and was involved in delivering large scale enterprise editorial and advertising systems for major publishers in the Benelux countries, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and South Africa.

Asia-Pacific and India-based Management

Chris Tew - Senior Vice President (Asia Pacific)

Chris is a sales leader with a substantial track record of achievement in the IT Industry, and joined Mediasurface in 2002.  Shortly after, he moved to the United States to manage the Mediasurface East Coast operation in Connecticut. In 2006, Chris was given responsibility for our new Asia Pacific offices and has moved to the region to establish the company's base there.  He has strong experience in the enterprise resource planning and e-business markets, managing both direct and indirect channels, and selling to a customer base ranging from major enterprises to small businesses.  Chris is the spokesman for all Asia Pacific queries.

Kishore Rawat - Director of Operations (India)
Kishore joined Mediasurface in May 2006 from Schlumberger, bringing 13 years of dedicated software experience with him.  He was promoted to the role of Director of Operations in early 2008, having been a pivotal member of the team in establishing the office and building the development and testing team there.  He is also responsible for project and development resource management on the Morello product. Kishore has spent many years working in different countries and has a wide breadth of experience across many software development technologies.
